Open Financial Technologies - Lead Data Analyst - Tableau/Power BI

Experience : 6-8 years.

Location : Bangalore.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end data analysis process, from requirement gathering to insight delivery.

- Translate complex data findings into clear business recommendations for senior leadership.

- Prioritize and manage multiple analytical projects across the organization.

- Develop and enhance analytics frameworks, reporting standards, and best practices.

- Collaborate with data engineering teams to shape data models, pipelines, and infrastructure.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting platforms.

- Build dashboards and automated reporting using tools such Metabase, Tableau etc.

- Partner with product, marketing, operations, finance, and other business units to understand analytical needs.

- Influence decision-making by grounding discussions in data-driven evidence.

- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of data analysts.

- Conduct code reviews, ensure analytical quality, and promote skill development.

Requirements:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related field.

- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.

- Expertise in Metabase.

- Proven ability to lead analytics projects and manage stakeholders.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into business narratives.

- Experience leading or mentoring analyst teams.

(Preferred) :

- Familiarity with AWS.

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

- Expertise in BI tools such as Looker / Power BI etc.
