POSITION SUMMARY :

AI Architect is responsible to define and govern the enterprise AI architecture for scalable, secure and responsible AI solutions.

The role provides technical leadership across GenAI, Agentic AI, AI Platforms and enterprise integrations while establishing architecture standards and best practices, owns the design and build of Unified AI Platform.

As a senior individual contributor, the AI Architect provides technical leadership, architecture governance and mentorship to accelerate enterprise AI adoption and delivery.

JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Enterprise AI Architecture : Define and maintain the enterprise AI reference architecture, technology standards, and solution patterns to deliver scalable, secure, and reusable AI solutions.

- Unified AI Platform : Design, build, and continuously enhance the Unified AI Platform, providing reusable AI services, frameworks, tooling, APIs, and engineering capabilities to accelerate enterprise AI adoption.

- AI Solution Architecture : Lead the architecture and technical design of enterprise AI solutions, ensuring scalability, resilience, security, performance, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Evaluate new AI models, frameworks, platforms, and tools through hands-on experimentation, providing technical recommendations for enterprise adoption.

- AI Governance & Responsible AI : Partner with the AI Governance function to incorporate responsible AI principles, enterprise AI controls, security, privacy, explainability, and compliance requirements into AI solution architecture and platform capabilities. Support architecture reviews and ensure AI solutions are designed to meet enterprise governance standards.

- Technical Leadership & Engineering Excellence : Provide technical leadership. Design, develop, and demonstrate AI prototypes, proofs of concept and reference implementations to evaluate emerging AI technologies to drive continuous innovation and platform maturity. Build reusable AI solution accelerators, templates, frameworks, and engineering assets to enable rapid development and consistent implementation across AI initiatives.

- Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with Business, Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, and AI Governance teams to deliver enterprise AI capabilities aligned with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define enterprise AI architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures.

- Design and build the Unified AI Platform, including reusable AI services, orchestration frameworks, model integration, APIs, and shared platform capabilities.

- Architect GenAI, Agentic AI, RAG, and intelligent automation solutions for enterprise use cases.

- Define enterprise standards for prompt management, model orchestration, vector databases, AI security, guardrails, observability, and AI operations.

- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical governance for AI solutions before implementation.

- Evaluate AI technologies, frameworks, cloud AI services, and vendor products, recommending adoption based on business value and technical fit.

- Mentor AI engineers and development teams on architecture, engineering practices, and solution design.

- Collaborate with AI Governance to ensure AI solutions align with enterprise governance, security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI requirements.

- Partner with Product Management and Business teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI architecture and platform capabilities.

- Drive continuous improvement of the Unified AI Platform through automation, reusable components, performance optimization, and engineering innovation.

- Provide technical leadership during solution delivery, production deployments, and complex issue resolution.

QUALIFICATION :

- B.E / B. Tech and Degree in AI / ML from premier institute

- 15 to 22 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, cloud architecture, or enterprise architecture

- Minimum 4 years of experience in AI is must

- Experience in design and implementation of enterprise-scale solution architectures.

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in delivery of production-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.

- Proven experience in design and implementation of enterprise AI platforms or AI-enabled applications.

- Experience in architecting cloud-native AI solutions on AWS.

- Experience in integration of AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, and business workflows.

- Experience defining reusable architecture patterns, technical standards, and engineering best practices.

- Experience working in Agile product development and DevSecOps environments.

- Experience collaborating with business, product, security, data, and governance teams to deliver enterprise technology solutions.

- Experience in Financial Services, Mortgage, Banking, or other regulated industries is preferred.
