Node.js Developer - Backend Architecture

Description :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level NodeJS Software Engineer with 9-12 years of experience to design, build, test, and maintain core PrismHR software applications that power our customer-facing businesses.

You will work with internal product teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

As part of this high-performing team, you will adhere to established best practices for code management and technical specifications, perform code and security reviews, conduct integration testing, and implement existing DevOps procedures.

Job Responsibilities :

Solution Design and Implementation :

- Create secure, efficient, and logical solution designs for clients.

- Understand the benefits of various design methodologies and object-oriented environments.

- Recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions.

Coding Standards and Peer Reviews :

- Communicate and enforce coding standards, conduct peer reviews, and work collaboratively with others.

- Perform code and security reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Development :

- Seek and participate in development opportunities beyond required training.

- Contribute to a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work with internal product teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Utilize strong team and interpersonal communication skills to foster a collaborative work environment.

Technical and DevOps Procedures :

- Implement existing DevOps procedures, ensuring smooth integration and deployment.

- Perform integration testing to ensure seamless functionality.

Additional Skills :

Core Competencies :

- 9-12 years of experience with NodeJS.

- 9-12 years of experience implementing OIDC and/or SAML authentication and single sign-on

- Experience working with Azure AD or Azure AD B2C, specifically Azure AD B2C custom policy development

- 9-12 years of experience with front-end JS component libraries, such as Angular, React, or Vue (Angular preferred).

- 9-12 years of experience in SQL database development, including Microsoft SQL Server.

Technical Expertise :

- Strong knowledge of the implementation of REST and other API technologies.

- Experience with modern front-end web development, including HTML5, CSS3, JS, or TypeScript.

- Software methodology experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, and others.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with all Microsoft Azure technologies, including the API gateway, Azure SQL, and Azure App Services
