Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Core AI Engineer to design, develop, and optimize foundational AI models, algorithms, and systems. This role focuses on building core AI capabilities, enabling scalable, high-performance solutions that drive innovation across our products and platforms You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, ML engineers, product managers, and software developers to implement cutting-edge AI/ML technologies. Our goal is to develop and deliver world class risk technology software solutions that enable our sales and delivery of professional services. You must be a self-starter and take creative approaches to solving challenging problems and meeting tight deliverables. The individual will participate in the overall product development cycle, working closely with Engineering as part of product development and release process to ensure high quality standards are maintained and a quality product is delivered to market.

Job Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to solve real-world business problems.

- Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines for knowledge-driven applications.

- Develop effective prompt engineering strategies to improve model performance, accuracy, and reliability.

- Implement agentic architectures and multi-step reasoning systems to enable autonomous workflows.

- Experience integrating AI/LLM solutions into production applications, APIs, or enterprise systems.

- Work with embedding and vector search techniques for semantic retrieval and personalization use cases.

- Architect and maintain end-to-end AI systems from data processing to deployment and monitoring.

- Conduct experiments, evaluations, and continuous improvements to enhance performance and scalability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business needs and product goals.

Required Qualification:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.

- 5-8 years of experience in AI/ML development with a focus on applied AI solutions.

- Strong proficiency in Python and experience building production-level applications.

- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG-based systems.

- Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, NLP concepts, and model evaluation techniques.

- Experience working with embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search systems.

- Ability to design scalable AI solutions aligned with business objectives.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills :

- Experience building agent-based AI systems or autonomous workflows.

- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or structured AI orchestration approaches.

- Experience integrating LLMs into real-world enterprise applications or products.

- Understanding of AI system performance optimization and evaluation metrics.

- Exposure to end-to-end GenAI solution architecture and deployment best practices.

- Strong collaboration skills with experience working in cross-functional teams.
