Role & Responsibilities :


- Manage and oversee day-to-day network operations, monitoring, and support across enterprise network infrastructure.

- Lead the NOC/network operations team, including resource planning, shift management, performance monitoring, and mentoring.

- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, SD-WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, and related network infrastructure.

- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve incidents, outages, latency, and connectivity issues.

- Own incident, problem, and change management processes and ensure timely resolution in line with defined SLAs.

- Coordinate with internal IT teams, application teams, security teams, telecom providers, and external vendors for issue resolution and service delivery.

- Define and track network KPIs, SLAs, availability, MTTR, incident trends, and operational performance.

- Drive root-cause analysis (RCA) for major network incidents and implement preventive/corrective actions.

- Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, maintenance activities, and infrastructure improvements with minimal business disruption.

- Manage network service providers and vendors, including performance, escalations, contracts, and service reviews.

- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, information-security policies, operational procedures, and compliance requirements.

- Maintain accurate network documentation, topology diagrams, configurations, SOPs, and operational reports.

- Identify opportunities for automation, monitoring improvements, capacity optimization, and operational efficiency.

- Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and network resilience planning and testing.

- Prepare regular operational reports and provide management with visibility into network health, risks, incidents, and improvement initiatives.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- 8 - 10 years of experience in network operations, network engineering, NOC, or IT infrastructure, with relevant experience in a team-lead/managerial role.

- Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and network troubleshooting.

- Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, or equivalent networking technologies is preferred.

- Experience managing NOC/Network Operations teams and 24/7 operational environments.

- Strong understanding of incident, problem, change, and service management, preferably with ITIL knowledge/certification.

- Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios, Cisco tools, or equivalent platforms.

- Familiarity with firewalls, SD-WAN, cloud networking, network security, and hybrid infrastructure is an advantage.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform RCA and drive corrective actions.

- Experience managing telecom/network vendors, SLAs, escalations, and service performance.

- Good understanding of network security, access controls, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.

- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder-management, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage critical incidents and business-impacting outages.

- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, JNCIA/Juniper, ITIL, or equivalent are desirable.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics/Telecommunications, or a related discipline preferred.
