Role & responsibilities :

We are looking for a hands-on Network Engineer with strong expertise in network configuration, troubleshooting, and secure configuration implementation across enterprise network environments. The engineer will be responsible for performing configuration changes, resolving network compliance issues, and implementing network hardening standards on production infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Cisco Routing & Switching, Cisco ACI, and at least one enterprise firewall (Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or Check Point).

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.

- Perform secure configuration changes on production routers, switches, ACI fabrics, and firewalls.

- Execute network hardening activities to ensure compliance with security standards.

- Identify and remediate configuration issues on network devices.

- Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues and implement permanent fixes.

- Work on Cisco ACI fabric configuration and troubleshooting.

- Configure and administer enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or Check Point).

- Implement routing and switching changes following organizational change management processes.

- Apply security configurations such as ACLs, AAA, SSH, and secure management access.

- Coordinate with Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to implement approved network changes.

- Ensure network devices adhere to organizational security baselines and configuration standards.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for implemented changes.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Network Configuration and Troubleshooting.

- Cisco Routing & Switching (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP, ACLs, NAT).

- Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure).

- Experience with at least one enterprise firewall :

1. Fortinet / FortiGate (Preferred)

2. Cisco ASA

3. Check Point

- Experience in Network Hardening, Secure Configuration, or Configuration Compliance.

- Production configuration and change implementation experience.

- Good understanding of network security best practices.
