We are looking for a skilled Software Architect, with 10 to 15 years of experience, to join our dynamic and global team. This is an individual contributor (IC) role, not a people management position you will be a hands-on technical owner, not managing direct reports.

In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of SaaS software solutions delivered on AWS. You will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of your code, from development to production, ensuring the highest standards of quality, scalability, and security.

Technical Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain both legacy and cloud applications across the entire Java full-stack technology stack, including Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Microservices, AWS, and SQL.

- Own the entire lifecycle of your code, from deployment to production, ensuring smooth monitoring and troubleshooting.

- Maintain high standards for your code's test coverage, including unit, integration, and automated functional tests.

Collaboration and Mentorship :

- Collaborate with product management and other cross-functional teams to plan, design, and scope new features while identifying opportunities for enhancements.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers and quality assurance teams (this is a technical leadership function, not a reporting-manager role), ensuring alignment with quality, security, scalability, and usability standards.

Ownership and Quality :

- Take ownership of your code from development to production, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- Work independently with minimal supervision, taking initiative and technical leadership within the engineering team.

- Follow Agile or Lean methodologies to deliver software efficiently and effectively.

What You'll Need to Be Successful (Required Skills):

- 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in building full-stack web applications, specifically Java + Angular full-stack development.

- Strong, hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Microservices, SQL, and AWS.

- Solid problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset with a sense of ownership.

- Ability to manage multiple streams of work effectively and prioritize tasks.

- Clear and concise communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience working in a Lean or Agile development environment.

- Proficiency in test-driven development and writing unit, integration, and functional tests.

- Note: This role is for hands-on individual contributors only candidates whose recent experience is primarily people management (no active coding) are not a fit.

Education/Certifications :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's Degree.
