Job Summary :

We are looking for experienced NetScout Service Assurance professionals with 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in network monitoring, service assurance, performance management, and troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring network and application performance, identifying service-impacting issues, and working with network/operations teams to ensure service availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Monitor and manage network and service performance using NetScout Service Assurance solutions.

- Analyze network traffic, performance metrics, alerts, and service-impacting events.

- Troubleshoot network performance issues, latency, packet loss, application performance, and connectivity problems.

- Configure and manage NetScout monitoring, dashboards, alerts, reports, and service assurance parameters.

- Perform root-cause analysis of network and service degradation incidents.

- Work closely with NOC, Network Operations, Engineering, and Application teams for incident resolution.

- Analyze traffic flows and network performance data to identify anomalies and potential bottlenecks.

- Support incident, problem, and change management processes.

- Prepare performance reports and provide recommendations for improving network/service reliability.

- Participate in major incident troubleshooting and provide technical support when required.

- Maintain documentation related to monitoring configurations, incidents, and operational procedures.

Required Skills :

- 4 - 8 years of experience in Network Monitoring / Service Assurance.

- Strong hands-on experience with NetScout Service Assurance.

- Good understanding of IP networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, routing and switching.

- Experience with network traffic analysis and performance monitoring.

- Knowledge of SNMP, NetFlow/IPFIX and other network monitoring technologies.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Experience working in a NOC / Service Assurance / Network Operations environment.

- Good understanding of network performance KPIs, SLAs and service availability.

- Good communication and incident-management skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with other network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, Splunk, Grafana, or similar platforms.

- Knowledge of telecom/service-provider environments.

- Experience with automation/scripting using Python or Shell.

- ITIL/ITSM knowledge or certification.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

Candidates should have strong practical exposure to NetScout Service Assurance, rather than only general network monitoring experience. Experience in production environments involving network/service monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis will be preferred.
