About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in NestJS to design, build, and maintain the backend architecture of our core applications. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of server-side logic, microservices, database management, and API development while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using NestJS.

- Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices with high scalability and performance.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

- Perform code reviews and optimize application performance.

- Manage databases, write optimized queries, and work with ORM frameworks.

- Implement security best practices, authentication, and authorization.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues in production and development environments.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in backend development.

- Strong expertise in NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript.

- Experience in designing and building REST APIs and microservices.

- Proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

- Experience with ORM tools (Prisma, TypeORM, Sequelize, etc.).

- Good understanding of server-side performance optimization.

- Knowledge of authentication/authorization frameworks (JWT, OAuth, etc.).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.

- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Redis, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or WebSockets.

- Understanding of microservice architecture.

- Exposure to DevOps tools and containerization.

- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai).

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
