Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeller with strong expertise in enterprise data modelling, data warehousing, and big data environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models across modern cloud and traditional database platforms.

The role requires deep understanding of relational, dimensional, and Data Vault modelling methodologies

along with strong exposure to ETL, data migration, and enterprise data architecture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Relational Data Models

2. Dimensional Data Models

3. Data Vault Models

- Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business and technical requirements.

- Develop data models end-to-end including :

1. New Data Model to Database implementation

2. Database to Data Model reverse engineering

3. SQL Script generation

- Perform Forward Engineering and Reverse Engineering activities for enterprise databases.

- Design and implement Fact Tables including :

1. Aggregate Fact Tables

2. Transaction Fact Tables

3. Snapshot Fact Tables

- Create and maintain Dimensions including :

1. Degenerate Dimensions

2. Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 2)

- Collaborate closely with development, analytics, and business teams to build scalable and optimized database models.

- Develop and maintain Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents across source systems and consumption layers.

- Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify business rules, data quality issues, and relevant data elements.

- Translate business requirements into technical data architecture solutions including Data Vault architecture designs.

- Support data migration initiatives across RDBMS platforms using ETL tools and migration strategies.

- Manage deployment and migration activities across QA, UAT, and Production environments.

- Ensure data governance, consistency, and integrity across enterprise systems.

- Hands-on experience creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

- Strong experience with Fact and Dimension modelling techniques.

- Expertise in Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) and data profiling.

- Experience working with :

b. SQL Server

c. Snowflake

d. GCP

e. AWS

f. Azure

- Proficiency in data modelling tools such as :

a. Erwin

b. ER Studio

c. MySQL Workbench

d. Oracle SQL Data Modeler

- Strong SQL and database design skills.

- Experience handling large-scale RDBMS projects.

- Hands-on experience with ETL tools including SSIS and SQL Server DTS jobs.

- Experience with CM build and deployment activities across QA/UAT/Production environments.
