Seeking a MSBI Developer with strong expertise in database technologies to design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced Power BI skills along with hands-on experience in database design, development, and optimization.

This role involves working with large datasets, ensuring data integrity, and creating impactful dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.

Requirements :

Power BI Expertise :

- Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Mobile.

- Advanced knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M Language).

- Expertise in creating custom visuals, slicers, and drill-through reports.

- Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms like Azure Data Factory or AWS.

- Ability to work with APIs and other third-party tools for data integration.

Database Knowledge :

- Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).

- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.

- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema).

- Experience with indexing, query tuning, and database optimization techniques.

ETL and Data Integration :

- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Informatics).

- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP for data storage and processing.

- Ability to work with APIs, JSON, and flat files for data extraction.

Other Tools & Technologies :

- Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Data bricks, or other big data platforms.

- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis (optional but preferred).

- Advanced Excel skills, including VBA (preferred).

QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelors degree in computer science / related engineering field OR equivalent experience in a related field.

- 7+ years of software development experience.

- 5+ years experience developing reports in SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Power BI.

- Experience with building data pipelines.

- Possess the ability to understand business processes and design reports.

- Good written, verbal communication skills.

- Great team player.
