- Think big. Have fun. Do good.

We are looking for leaders who want to build impactful tech, empower teams, and transform healthcare.

The Opportunity:

As the Manager of IT Systems, you will step into a newly created, dynamic role designed to serve as a primary leadership layer for our growing India IT presence. You will be an empathetic people manager and an all-rounder technical expert who bridges the gap between daily execution and strategic forethought. Balancing cutting-edge modern IT best practices with collaborative global teamwork, you will ensure our infrastructure scales seamlessly alongside the business.

What Youll Do:

Lead with Empathy & Purpose:

- Champion a diverse, inclusive, and values-first team culture while ensuring exceptional service delivery and continuous process improvement.

Innovate Boldly & Hands-On:

- Act as the primary technical escalation point and deploy modern IT practices, including applied AI, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Configure and manage our multi-cloud environment (AWS/GCP), identity systems (Okta, AD), and identity-driven networks.

Think Big on Campus & Backend Architecture:

- Lead large-scale physical and enterprise network deployments from the ground up. Youll be responsible for designing and scaling complex, multi-floor enterprise infrastructurecalculating network room counts, defining switch topologies, sizing internet and core uplinks, placing firewall pairs, performing Wi-Fi heatmapping/AP placement, and evaluating specialized HVAC and cooling requirements.

- Architect and maintain core backend networking and campus infrastructure services required for high-density office environments (DHCP/DNS, Radius/802.1X, VLAN segmentation, zero-trust network access, and redundant ISP connections).

Protect the Practice:

- Maintain immaculate documentation (runbooks, network diagrams).

- Lead global standard compliance audits (HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC) and enforce robust disaster recovery protocols to guarantee maximum service availability.

Create Internal Customer Delight:

- Champion a proactive, frictionless IT culture for ModMeds workforce.

- Monitor queues, resolve SLA breaches, and enforce monitoring frameworks to guarantee peak service availability and responsiveness.

Core Qualifications:

- Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred), along with 10+ years of enterprise-level IT experience, including 3+ years of direct people management and technical leadership.

- Large-Scale Infrastructure Build-Outs: Proven hands-on track record of personally leading 500+ seat office network and backend infrastructure build-outs end-to-end (cable plant design, IDF/MDF planning, wireless site surveys, ISP procurement, and low-voltage vendor management). Experience architecting large-scale layouts (e.g., multi-floor, multi-thousand-user environments) is strongly preferred.

- Networking Mastery: CCNP-level campus routing/switching and enterprise wireless required, hands-on. Deep understanding of enterprise network topology design, firewall high-availability pairing, AP placement strategy, and room/IDF power & HVAC sizing.

- Environment: Proven success navigating fast-paced, hyper-growth tech environments with rapidly evolving business needs.

- Technical & Operational Skill Set: Strong expertise in AWS/GCP, applied AI, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), identity systems (Okta/Active Directory), backend enterprise network services, and robust business continuity/disaster recovery planning.

- Vendor & Compliance Savvy: Proven capability managing key vendor relationships (ISPs, low-voltage providers, SaaS vendors) and collecting evidence for rigorous InfoSec audits (HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC).

Bonus Points:

- Hands-on scripting and automation experience using Python.

- Exposure to containerization and analytics platforms using Kubernetes, BigQuery, or Terraform.

Core ModMed Competencies:

- Agility & Results Driven: You embrace change as a growth opportunity, learn from both successes and failures, and consistently achieve quality results.

- Problem Solving & Innovation: You excel at solving non-linear, high-complexity problems (like multi-cloud latency or automation stack failures) while proactively finding scalable solutions.

- Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional ability to collaborate across global enterprise borders (specifically bridging India and US teams) to build trust and ensure alignment.
