Roles and Responsibilities :
- Implement custom business logic, workflows, and data models to support complex e-commerce functionality.
- Develop and enhance Hybris storefronts using Hybris Accelerators, SmartEdit, and responsive front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Work on core Hybris modules Product Catalog, Order Management, Promotions, Checkout, and Cart functionality.
- Integrate Hybris with external systems such as ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and third-party APIs using REST/SOAP web services.
- Configure and optimize Hybris platform performance, caching, and search functionality (Solr/Elasticsearch).
- Participate in end-to-end solution design, including architecture discussions, data modeling, and system integrations.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to maintain high code quality and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployments and smooth delivery cycles.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure platform stability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending best practices, tools, and technologies for Hybris development.
- Stay updated with SAP Commerce Cloud releases, Hybris extensions, and e-commerce technology trends.
- Provide technical documentation for configurations, enhancements, and integrations.
- Support migration and upgrade projects between different Hybris versions or to the SAP Commerce Cloud.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, ensuring active collaboration and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Strong experience in Java, Spring, and related frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Hybris Commerce Suite, including Backoffice, SmartEdit, and Accelerator.
- Experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSP.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience in integrating SAP Hybris with third-party systems (APIs, Web Services).
- Good understanding of the e-commerce domain and business processes.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
