Milestone Technologies - Data Analyst/BI Developer - ETL/Data Modeling

Business Intelligence & Visualization :

- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

- Ensure dashboards are optimized for usability, performance, and scalability.

Data Engineering & ETL :

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.

- Design and implement data models, schemas, and database structures to support reporting and analytics.

- Perform data integration across heterogeneous systems ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Process Automation :

- Develop and manage Power Apps solutions to streamline workflows, automate business processes, and enhance productivity.

- Integrate Power Apps with existing BI and data platforms for seamless data-driven operations.

Data Governance & Quality

- Perform data validation, profiling, and cleansing to ensure high data accuracy and integrity.

- Establish best practices for data governance, metadata management, and data security compliance.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Partner with business and technology teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business problems into scalable BI solutions.

- Provide training and technical support to end-users, enabling self-service analytics adoption.

Innovation & Research :

- Stay updated with emerging technologies in data analytics, AI/GenAI, and cloud-based BI tools.

- Proactively recommend enhancements and innovative solutions for data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related discipline.

Experience :

- 7+ years of proven experience in Tableau development (interactive dashboards, advanced calculations, performance tuning).

- 5+ years of expertise in MS SQL Server and relational database design.

- 2+ years of experience with Power Apps for workflow automation and custom application development.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in ETL processes, SQL optimization, and database management.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for BI deployments is preferred.

- Familiarity with GenAI/AI-powered analytics tools will be an added advantage.

- Experience with other BI and data tools (Power BI, Alteryx, Python/R for analytics) is a plus.
