Microstrategy Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled MicroStrategy Developer for a seasonal opportunity to support our data and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business intelligence tools, especially MicroStrategy, and hands-on expertise in data pipeline development, performance optimization, and cloud-based deployment. Experience in the banking domain and familiarity with supporting technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and cubes.

- Implement and enhance MicroStrategy solutions on cloud platforms, especially Azure.

- Develop and manage data pipelines using cloud-native technologies.

- Work closely with stakeholders for end-to-end project delivery.

- Perform performance tuning of existing MicroStrategy solutions.

- Support BI infrastructure, including MicroStrategy administration tasks if needed.

- Collaborate with data engineers and architects across Linux, Oracle, Hive, and Impala environments.

- Utilize PostgreSQL where applicable (optional).

Required Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in data and reporting technologies.

- Hands-on expertise with MicroStrategy development (reports, cubes, performance tuning).

- Experience deploying MicroStrategy in cloud environments (Azure preferred).

- Proficiency in Linux, Oracle, Hive, and Impala.

- Strong understanding of BI lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Familiarity with PostgreSQL.

- Experience in the banking or financial services domain.

- Exposure to MicroStrategy administration and user management.
