Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Fabric Administrator with 4 to 7 years of experience in administering, monitoring, and optimizing Microsoft Fabric environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Fabric capacities, workspace governance, security, access controls, monitoring, and platform performance while ensuring adherence to organizational data governance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and manage Microsoft Fabric tenants, capacities, workspaces, and resources.

- Configure and maintain Fabric Capacity Management, workload settings, and performance optimization.

- Implement and manage security, authentication, authorization, and RBAC controls.

- Monitor Fabric platform health, usage metrics, and troubleshoot performance issues.

- Manage Power BI, Data Factory, Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, and OneLake administration within Fabric.

- Govern workspace lifecycle, user provisioning, and access management.

- Configure monitoring, alerts, auditing, and compliance policies.

- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure platform availability and scalability.

- Support CI/CD deployments and environment management across Dev, Test, and Production.

- Drive governance best practices, cost optimization, and capacity planning.

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Administration.

- Strong understanding of OneLake, Power BI Administration, Data Factory, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse concepts.

- Experience with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), RBAC, and security management.

- Knowledge of Azure Data Services, including ADLS Gen2 and Azure Synapse.

- Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

- Understanding of data governance, compliance, and auditing frameworks.

- Familiarity with PowerShell, Azure Portal, and automation tools.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD implementation.

- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or PySpark.

- Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data-related certifications.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 4 to 7 years of overall IT experience with at least 2+ years in Microsoft Fabric/Power BI Administration.
