- The Messaging Infrastructure Engineer works within the infrastructure engineer group on the deployment & operation of the O365/M365 services and Active Directory Federation Services.
- This position responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting and deployment of such systems ensuring complete implementation within agreed timeline.
- Candidates should have working experience with O365/M365, Microsoft Active Directory 2012 or later and Microsoft ADFS v3 or later in an enterprise environment, including in depth familiarity with Windows Server (2016/2019), Microsoft Exchange (2013 or later) and related technologies.
- Candidates should have working experience with Office 365/Microsoft 365 and Active Directory (on-prem & Azure) in an enterprise environment, and familiar with various messaging environment (on-prem, cloud and hybrid) including in depth familiarity with Windows Server (2016/2019), Microsoft Teams, Relying Party Trust and related technologies.
- Candidate should have at least 3 years of hands-on deployment and support experience in O365/M365, Azure AD and ADFS.
- Experience in Microsoft AD, Microsoft Exchange and Skype for business would be useful.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities :
- Perform patches and disaster recovery test.
- Perform support & troubleshooting of O365/M365, Azure AD, ADFS and Relying Party Trusts environments which includes change, system administration, performance and availability management.
- Provide deployment support and fixes of O365/M365 integration & configuration environment.
- Support Directory synchronization, Relying Party Trust, SMTP and Relay Hosting of messaging environments.
- Troubleshoot O365/M365 configuration & services and Active Directory/ADFS issues, working in collaboration with other relevant IT areas and vendor support towards a quick and effective resolution.
- Work with other technical teams including network engineers and vendors, as necessary, to support system upgrade and maintenance activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to design, configuration, usage, troubleshooting, etc., for all Messaging infrastructure environment.
- Review and implement monitoring solutions to detect and remediate issues to reduce risk of incidents.
- Handle Day-to-Day incidents, Service Requests as L2 support Engineer.
- Batch scripting experience (PowerShell, etc).
- Support the day to day operation across critical Microsoft 365 applications: Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint Online.
- Knowledge of configuring, packaging, deploying and upgrading Microsoft Office and other productivity applications.
- Knowledge on MS Azure & Office365 Applications.
- Knowledge on M365 administration roles such as Exchange admin, Office Apps admin.
- Experience in M365 monitoring, alerting, and reporting.
