Meril Life - Senior Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications across both front-end and back-end technologies. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust full-stack applications.

- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

- Develop scalable and secure back-end services and APIs using technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, or .NET.

- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring high performance and data integrity.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.

- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.

- Troubleshoot complex application issues and implement effective solutions.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.

- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technology and design decisions.

- Implement automated testing, CI/CD practices, monitoring, and performance optimization.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of experience in full-stack software development.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with at least one back-end programming language such as Java, Node.js, Python, or .NET.

- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, REST APIs, Git, and cloud platforms.

- Experience with microservices, Docker, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.

- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, security, and scalability.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education : Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
