Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Mendix Architect with strong Java expertise to design and lead enterprise-grade low-code solutions. The role requires a blend of technical leadership, architectural design, and hands-on development, ensuring scalable, high-quality applications aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities (KRA) :

- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using the Mendix platform

- Lead end-to-end solution development lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment

- Translate complex business requirements into robust low-code architectures

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams

- Ensure seamless integration of Mendix applications with enterprise systems using Java and APIs

- Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and governance frameworks

- Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with standards and regulations

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects

- Optimize application performance and scalability for enterprise environments

- Drive innovation by leveraging low-code capabilities combined with custom Java extensions

Required Skillsets :

- Strong expertise in Mendix platform development and architecture

- Proficiency in Java, including backend development and integrations

- Experience in designing enterprise-grade, scalable, and distributed systems

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and integration patterns

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control systems

- Experience in database design and management (SQL/NoSQL)

- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills

- Ability to work in agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications :

- Mendix Advanced/Expert Certification

- Experience in enterprise application modernization using low-code platforms

- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes

- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks

Candidate Profile :

- 7+ years of overall IT experience with strong Java background

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in designing and leading low-code (Mendix) solutions

- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
