Job Description : MDM / Data Quality Consultant

Experience : 5 to 9 Years

Location : Bangalore

Employment Type : Full time

Notice period : 30 days

Mandatory : Banking experience OR Finance experience

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and maintain MDM data models, entities, attributes, relationships, and reference data.

- Configure and maintain Data Quality rules for completeness, correctness, uniqueness, validity, and consistency.

- Configure data governance, stewardship, approval workflows, roles, and business rules.

- Perform data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.

- Prepare test data and execute unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing.

- Analyze test results, identify data/configuration defects, and support remediation and retesting.

- Work with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into MDM solutions.

- Support onboarding of new data domains into the MDM platform.

- Create and maintain configuration documents, test scripts, traceability matrices, and deployment documentation.

- Provide production support for MDM/Data Quality-related issues when required.

- Ensure data quality and governance requirements are properly implemented and tested.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in SQL

- Good understanding of ETL processes and data integration

- Strong experience in Data Modelling

- Hands-on experience with any MDM or Data Quality platform

- Understanding of Master Data Management concepts

- Experience with Data Quality and Data Governance

- Experience in data validation, reconciliation, and testing
