Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with 10 - 12 years of experience in data engineering and strong hands-on expertise in SnapLogic and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable data integration and data processing solutions using modern cloud data technologies.

SnapLogic and Snowflake are key skillsets for this position and are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust data integration pipelines using SnapLogic.

- Develop and optimize data solutions using Snowflake as the cloud data warehouse.

- Build scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from multiple source systems.

- Develop data processing and automation solutions using Python.

- Design and implement efficient data models, transformations, and data workflows in Snowflake.

- Perform Snowflake performance tuning, query optimization, and warehouse optimization.

- Develop and maintain SnapLogic pipelines, integrations, mappings, transformations, and error-handling mechanisms.

- Schedule, monitor, and manage batch jobs and enterprise workflows using Control-M.

- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, integration issues, and production incidents.

- Implement data quality, validation, logging, monitoring, and exception-handling mechanisms.

- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, application teams, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.

- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Ensure data engineering solutions follow organizational standards for security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.

- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level data engineers.

Technical Skills :

- Mandatory : SnapLogic, Snowflake, Python, Control-M

- Additional : ETL/ELT concepts, SQL development, Cloud data engineering, Agile/Scrum

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience working on large-scale enterprise data engineering projects.

- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and automated deployment processes.

- Good understanding of data governance, security, and data quality practices.
