MarsDevs - Senior Python Developer - Django Framework

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using FastAPI and Django.

- Build and deploy microservices from scratch, ensuring reliability and performance.

- Decide and implement the right storage solutions (SQL vs. NoSQL) depending on use case.

- Optimize server performance, focusing on low latency and high throughput.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and debugging strategies with industry-standard tools.

- Work with asynchronous programming and understand Pythons internals, including the GIL.

- Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute when needed (bonus if eager to explore frontend stacks).

- Ensure clean, maintainable, and test-driven code with proper documentation.

Requirements

- 3+ years of professional backend development experience with FastAPI and Django.

- Proven experience building and scaling microservices architecture.

- Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and Python internals.

- Deep understanding of database design, including when to use relational vs. non-relational DBs.

- Hands-on experience in server optimization, performance tuning, and profiling.

- Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK, etc.)

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

- Willingness to occasionally contribute to frontend development.

- Must be a power user of Cursor/Claude Code or any other AI code helper.

- Willing to learn to building RAG and AI Agentic Solutions.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container tools.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Contributions to open-source or side projects showcasing backend expertise.
