Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Head of Data Science for the build out of our commercial real estate loan servicing platform. They will lead multiple teams of data scientists in an Agile organization; the right leader will have a mix of strong technical understanding and a focus on innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute the data science and AI strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Lead three specialized teams: Document Processing and Extraction, Agentic AI and Predictive Analytics.

- Partner with engineering and product teams to embed AI/ML capabilities throughout the platform.

- Build and scale data science teams.

- Lead development of intelligent systems for working with, extracting and structuring unstructured data.

- Design and deploy autonomous AI Agents that assist with loan servicing workflows.

- Build models for evaluation and prediction of borrower health and early warning signs of default.

- Establish MLOps practices for model deployment, monitoring and evaluation.

Required Qualifications :

- PhD or Master's in computer science, statistics, machine learning or related quantitative field.

- 15+ years of experience in data science/ML with 8+ years leading teams.

- Proven track record deploying production ML systems at scale.

- Experience with modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow, HuggingFace, LangChain).

- Experience with predictive modeling and time series forecasting.
