Role Overview :

As the SOC Manager, you will lead the strategic and operational functions of our security operations center in Mumbai. You will oversee a team of security analysts and engineers, ensuring that threat detection, incident triage, and response protocols are executed with precision. This role involves close collaboration with client stakeholders, IT leadership, and internal engineering teams to refine security postures and mitigate risks. Your work directly impacts the resilience of our clients' digital environments, ensuring that security operations remain proactive, compliant, and aligned with evolving threat landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Direct the daily operations of the SOC, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and rapid incident response to maintain client security integrity.

- Mentor and lead a team of security analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence to improve incident resolution times.

- Design and implement advanced threat detection use cases within the SIEM platform to identify and neutralize emerging vulnerabilities.

- Manage incident escalation processes, serving as the primary point of contact for high-severity security breaches to minimize business disruption.

- Analyze security metrics and performance data to provide actionable insights to client stakeholders regarding their overall risk posture.

- Oversee the integration of new security tools and technologies into the existing SOC ecosystem to enhance automation and threat intelligence capabilities.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale SOC operations, including deep knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, and EDR platforms.

- Proven ability to lead and motivate technical teams in high-pressure environments, with strong interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder expectations.

- Strong analytical capabilities to translate complex security data into clear, strategic recommendations for non-technical leadership.

- Ability to thrive in an on-site work environment in Mumbai, maintaining high levels of collaboration and team engagement.

- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, complemented by relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GCIH.

- 8 - 12 years of professional experience in cybersecurity operations, with a track record of scaling security functions and improving operational efficiency.
