MantriAI is hiring on behalf of a leading global organization in the Banking & Financial Services industry for an exciting Data Engineering leadership opportunity. We are looking for experienced Data Engineering professionals with strong BFSI domain experience and hands-on expertise in Databricks, PySpark, Python and SQL.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, Python and SQL.

- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows and Delta Lake architectures.

- Lead, mentor and manage Data Engineering teams.

- Optimize Spark workloads for performance, reliability and cost efficiency.

- Develop reusable transformation components and scalable data models.

- Implement data quality checks, reconciliation and automated monitoring.

- Drive CI/CD deployments, production troubleshooting and pipeline maintenance.

- Ensure data governance, security and documentation standards.

- Collaborate with business and analytics teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience in Databricks and PySpark.

- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.

- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, Data Lakes and Delta Lake.

- Strong understanding of distributed processing, Spark optimization and workflow orchestration.

- Proven experience in technical leadership and team management.

- Understanding of enterprise data quality and reconciliation frameworks.

Preferred Domain :

- Candidates with experience in Banking, NBFC, Insurance, FinTech or Financial Services will be preferred.
