About the Role :

We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineering Leader with strong expertise in ETL, cloud data platforms, and enterprise data warehousing. This role is ideal for professionals transitioning from Senior Engineer to Manager and offers a balanced mix of technical ownership and team leadership.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience building scalable data pipelines, managing ETL operations, and leading delivery across enterprise analytics environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead ETL development, operations, and production support

- Design and manage cloud-based data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Build and optimize data warehouse solutions using Snowflake or Redshift

- Develop scalable pipelines using SSIS, Matillion, SnapLogic, and PySpark

- Implement dimensional modelling concepts including SCD Type 1/2/3

- Ensure data quality, scalability, reliability, and performance of data pipelines

- Support analytics and reporting teams with downstream data requirements

- Lead small-to-medium engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers

- Collaborate with business and analytics stakeholders to solve complex data challenges

- Drive root-cause analysis and production issue resolution

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering / ETL

- 3+ years of experience in Pharma / Life Sciences domain

- Strong expertise in ETL tools such as SSIS, Matillion, and SnapLogic

- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Strong experience with Snowflake or Redshift

- Strong understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling

- Hands-on experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing

- Experience building high-performance, scalable data pipelines

- 2+ years of team leadership and delivery ownership experience

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Tableau or Power BI

- Experience in production support and data operations

- Prior experience in pharma analytics environments or consulting firms

Additional Information :

- Hybrid work model with WFH flexibility up to 6 days a month

- Compensation includes 10% variable pay
