About the Role:

As a Mainframe Automation Analyst, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust infrastructure platforms that ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of critical systems. You will utilize software engineering techniques and automation to drive efficiency, resolve complex technical issues, and modernize existing processes. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.

- Monitor IT infrastructure and system performance to identify, address, and resolve potential vulnerabilities or outages.

- Implement automated tasks and processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

- Ensure secure configuration of infrastructure to protect hardware, software, and data from unauthorized access.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to define infrastructure requirements and devise integrated solutions.

- Perform root cause analysis and manage problems to drive down mean time to resolution.

- Guide and support team members while coordinating resources to achieve operational excellence.

- Take ownership of managing risks and strengthening controls in alignment with organizational policies.

Requirements:

- 4-8 years of professional experience in mainframe infrastructure and automation.

- Strong proficiency in Z Netview and Z System Automation.

- Proven experience with REXX coding.

- Solid understanding of Workload Scheduling and Batch Automation.

- Experience in designing Automated Monitoring, Alerting, and Recovery Processes.

- Mandatory graduation degree in a relevant field.

- Working knowledge of JCL, ISPF, and SDSF.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Demonstrated ability in Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management.
