Key Responsibilities :

1. eCommerce Platform Development :

- Work on large-scale B2B/B2C or multi-language, multi-store Magento systems.

- Architect and implement high-performance headless Magento applications using REST APIs / GraphQL.

- Design and optimize Magento APIs for speed, reliability, and secure data handling.

2. Technical Leadership & Mentorship :

- Mentor and guide the Magento development team on architecture, code quality, and best practices.

- Enforce technical standards, reusable design patterns, and scalable development principles.

3. System Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution :

- Troubleshoot complex issues across backend, integrations, and infrastructure layers.

- Provide leadership and direction during P1/P0 production incidents to ensure rapid issue resolution.

4. Security & Compliance :

- Identify and resolve vulnerabilities including API threats, SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, and other OWASP issues.

- Implement and enforce secure coding practices across the Magento ecosystem.

5. Performance Optimization :

- Use performance profiling tools like Blackfire, New Relic, and Tideways to identify bottlenecks.

- Optimize code, database queries, caching, integrations, and page load times for high system performance.

6. Architecture & Integrations :

- Work with microservices and event-driven architectures for modular, scalable system design.

- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product, and Infra teams for smooth deployments and robust integrations.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-8+ years of Magento 2 development experience (backend, API, and integrations).

- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Vue) for headless builds.

- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

- Strong debugging and analytical skills with attention to performance and reliability.

- Experience handling high-availability or mission-critical eCommerce platforms.
