Looker Developer - Dashboard Design

Description :

- Provide day to day production support for Looker dashboards, reports, Explores, and LookML models.

- Troubleshoot Looker errors, performance bottlenecks, and data discrepancies.

- Monitor system performance, Looker PDTs, and scheduled jobs to ensure smooth operations.

- Optimize queries and LookML structures to improve dashboard load times.

- Validate data quality and ensure consistent, accurate reporting across teams.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in SQL with the ability to work efficiently with large datasets.

- Experience with modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, etc.)

- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (Star schema, Fact & dimension modeling)

- Experience using Git and version control within Looker.

- Ability to diagnose and resolve data quality issues including cleaning, preprocessing, and anomaly detection.

- Experience with ETL / ELT tools, such as DBT or Looker PDTs.

- Experience in dashboard design, performance tuning, and query optimization.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Self driven, detail oriented, and highly collaborative in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have) :

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Looker certifications, such as Looker LookML Developer Certification
