Role Overview :

Responsible for the development and maintenance of software solutions for new and existing projects. Deep technical skills are required, along with an ability to understand how all pieces fit together and are validated in a complex, distributed system. You will handle configuration and maintenance of solutions within the Allscripts Practice Management (PM) platform.

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development lifecycle.

- Perform in-depth analysis of database tables and schemas to support reporting and integrations enhancements.

- Design and implement custom reports and data extracts to support operations and management decision-making.

- Build and maintain integrations between internal and external systems including clearinghouses, payers, and EHRs.

- Document technical solutions, data mappings, and process flows to maintain a reliable knowledge base.

- Leverage AI development tools for rapid development and productivity acceleration.

- Actively participate hands-on in product development and develop prototypes to prove business value.

- Respond to stakeholder requirements and discuss concepts, solutions, technical feasibility, and risks.

- Participate in knowledge-sharing code reviews.

Required Skills :

- Advanced coding skills in C# ASP.Net, .Net Core, React, Node JS, SQL, Rest API.

- Integrated development with usage of AI Tools such as GitHub Copilot/Claude Code/Codex.

- Deep proficiency with the AS PM schema and core modules: scheduling, patient registration, charge entry, claims management, payment posting, and denial management.

- Strong understanding of RCM billing workflows, payer contract management, eligibility verification, and remittance processing.

- Experience building or supporting integrations between Allscripts PM and external systems.

- Applied use of GenAI, Agentic AI, and ML Algorithms.

- Ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
