Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Logic Design expert to join our high-performance silicon engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be at the forefront of architecting and implementing complex RTL designs for next-generation GPU and RISC-based processors. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architecture, verification, and physical design, to translate high-level specifications into robust, power-efficient logic. Your contributions will directly influence the performance and scalability of our cutting-edge hardware products, ensuring we maintain a competitive edge in the global semiconductor market. This position offers the opportunity to drive technical strategy and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end RTL design process for complex blocks, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet stringent performance and power targets for GPU and RISC architectures.
- Collaborate with system architects to define micro-architectural specifications, ensuring that design choices align with overall product goals and hardware constraints.
- Drive the resolution of complex design challenges by working alongside verification teams to debug RTL issues and ensure functional correctness before tape-out.
- Optimize logic structures for area, power, and timing, providing critical feedback to physical design teams to streamline the implementation flow.
- Mentor senior and junior design engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and rigorous design methodology across the organization.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in FPGA/ASIC design and RTL development, with a deep understanding of modern GPU and RISC-V or similar processor architectures.
- Proven ability to translate complex architectural requirements into efficient, synthesizable Verilog/SystemVerilog code while maintaining high standards of design documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to navigate complex design trade-offs and communicate technical decisions effectively to stakeholders.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a track record of leading technical discussions and collaborating across global teams to achieve project milestones.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering, with 8 to 16 years of hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Ability to thrive in a high-collaboration, on-site work environment in Bangalore, demonstrating adaptability to evolving project demands and technical challenges.
