Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP / WordPress Developer and Linux Server Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining PHP-based web applications and WordPress websites while managing Linux hosting environments, server infrastructure, application deployment, security, performance optimization, and backup management. The candidate should possess strong expertise in WordPress development, MySQL database administration, Linux server management, and web hosting technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Website Development & Maintenance :

- Develop, customize, and maintain PHP-based web applications and WordPress websites.

- Design responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing web interfaces.

- Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and modules.

- Troubleshoot application issues, fix bugs, and implement enhancements.

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

- Optimize website performance and loading speed.

WordPress Administration :

- Install, configure, and maintain WordPress environments.

- Manage WordPress updates, plugin installations, upgrades, and security patches.

- Implement caching mechanisms and website performance optimization.

- Monitor website uptime, availability, and overall health.

MySQL Database Administration :

- Design, maintain, and optimize MySQL databases.

- Perform query optimization, indexing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

- Manage database security, backups, migrations, and replication activities.

- Ensure database integrity and availability.

Linux Server Administration :

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).

- Manage Apache and Nginx web servers.

- Configure PHP environments and hosting services.

- Manage SSL certificates, DNS records, virtual hosts, and domain hosting.

- Monitor server health, storage, CPU, memory, and network utilization.

- Implement server hardening and security best practices.

Application Hosting & Deployment :

- Deploy and manage PHP, WordPress, and MySQL applications.

- Configure and maintain hosting environments.

- Support CI/CD deployment and release management processes.

- Troubleshoot hosting and application-related issues.

- Manage cloud and VPS hosting environments.

Backup & Disaster Recovery :

- Implement and maintain automated backup solutions.

- Monitor backup schedules and validate restoration processes.

- Ensure disaster recovery readiness and business continuity.

- Maintain backup logs and recovery documentation.

Security & Performance Optimization :

- Implement website and server security controls.

- Configure firewalls, malware protection, access controls, and SSL security.

- Conduct vulnerability assessments and preventive maintenance.

- Optimize server and application performance to ensure high availability.
