About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Lead Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade software products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, modern web development, AI-assisted software development, and enterprise application design with focus on .NET Core, Angular & SQL Server. This role requires a balance of architecture, hands-on development, technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise application architectures aligned with business objectives.

- Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle from solution design to production deployment. Drive technical strategy and influence product direction.

- Hands-on development using C#, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Angular, SQL Server, and related technologies.

- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, coding standards, design patterns, and architectural best practices.

- Build Proof of Concepts (PoCs), technical spikes, prototypes, and research initiatives to evaluate emerging technologies.

- Promote AI-assisted software development using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Cursor or equivalent enterprise AI platforms.

- Evaluate and implement Generative AI use cases including Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and Model Context Protocol (MCP) where applicable.

- Design Microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.

- Lead architecture discussions and collaborate with Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment with organizational architecture standards.

- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA teams, and Developers to deliver business value.

- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Perform architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design reviews.

- Establish software quality standards through unit testing, integration testing, code coverage, and automated testing practices.

- Responsible for code quality and implementing coding standards that continually improve the teams output. Mentor, coach, and develop software engineers and technical leads through continuous knowledge sharing.

- Identify technical risks early and recommend mitigation strategies.

- Ensure applications meet security, compliance, scalability, and performance requirements.

- Participate in estimation, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.

- Maintain high-quality technical documentation using Confluence.

- Provide regular technical updates to project leadership and senior management.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 10-12 years of software development experience using Microsoft technologies.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Solution Architecture or Technical Architecture.

- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and SQL Server.

- Experience designing enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.

- Proven experience leading development teams (including mobile) and mentoring engineers.

- Experience delivering products using Agile methodologies.

- Understanding and exposure to multi-environment ecosystems. Strong critical thinking, decision-making, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences. Ability to provide concise status updates to senior IT and business leadership. Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
