What Youll Do :

- Build and maintain high-performance backend systems using Rust

- Define and lead the architecture for event-driven and streaming-based platforms

- Develop and manage real-time data ingestion and processing pipelines with Kafka

- Design clean, scalable APIs using REST, GraphQL, and gRPC

- Implement secure access control systems including JWT, OAuth2, RBAC, and API keys

- Create efficient NoSQL schemas and data access layers using DynamoDB

- Introduce and optimize caching mechanisms with Redis or MemoryDB

- Deploy and operate cloud-native services on AWS (EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, MSK, IAM, VPC)

- Ensure systems meet high standards for availability, observability, security, and cost control

- Partner with Product, QA, DevOps, Security, and Data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

- Provide technical leadership through mentorship, reviews, and ownership of production systems

What Were Looking For :

- 3+ years of experience building backend or platform services

- Strong practical experience developing applications in Rust

- Proven understanding of distributed systems and modern backend architectures

- Experience working with streaming platforms such as Kafka

- Solid knowledge of API design, identity management, and security fundamentals

- Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native deployments

- Experience with NoSQL databases, especially DynamoDB, and caching layers

- Ability to move fast while designing systems that scale reliably over time

Nice to Have :

- Background in IoT, telemetry, or connected-device platforms

- Familiarity with Python or Node.js

- Experience working with SQL or relational databases

- Exposure to Kubernetes and EKS

- Experience working in startups or fast-scaling engineering teams
