Job Description
What We Are Looking For :
A hands-on Lead Software Engineer with 70% Backend and 30 - 40% Frontend expertise.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and implement high-performance backend services using Node.js and Python to ensure system reliability and scalability.
- Design and maintain complex Event-Driven Architectures to facilitate seamless communication between distributed system components.
- Lead the development of intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React.js and Redux, ensuring a high-quality user experience across all platforms.
- Manage and optimize asynchronous data processing workflows by implementing robust messaging queues such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
Skills Required :
Backend - 70% :
- Node.js / Python
- Microservices Architecture
- Event-Driven Architecture
- Kafka / RabbitMQ / Message Queues
- PostgreSQL
- REST / GraphQL APIs
- Strong coding & system design
Frontend - 30 - 40% :
- React.js
- Redux / Redux Toolkit
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- HTML5 / CSS3
DevOps & Cloud :
- Docker & Kubernetes
- CI/CD
- Azure / GCP
- Production troubleshooting
Leadership :
- Lead and mentor 4 - 8 engineers
- Architecture & code reviews
- End-to-end delivery ownership
- Work with Product, BA, QA, DevOps & global stakeholders
- Strong design patterns, testing and coding standards
Good to have :
- Retail/E-commerce, AI/LLM, RAG, AI Agents, Observability and GCC experience.
