Role Overview:

As a Lead or Principal SailPoint IAM Engineer, you will serve as the technical authority for our Identity and Access Management practice. You will be responsible for designing and deploying scalable SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions that align with complex business requirements and security policies. Working closely with client stakeholders, security architects, and project delivery teams, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IAM implementations. Your work will directly influence the security posture of our clients, ensuring seamless user access, regulatory compliance, and the mitigation of identity-related risks across their global infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and design comprehensive SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions to address complex enterprise identity governance needs and security requirements.

- Lead the end-to-end implementation of SailPoint modules, including Lifecycle Management, Compliance Manager, and Access Request, to ensure robust identity lifecycle control.

- Develop custom connectors and workflows using Java to facilitate seamless integration between SailPoint and diverse target systems such as Active Directory, SAP, and cloud-based applications.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering teams, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices in IAM development.

- Collaborate with client security teams to translate business policies into technical configurations, ensuring audit readiness and regulatory compliance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance bottlenecks and integration issues within the SailPoint environment to maintain high system availability and reliability.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and deploying SailPoint IdentityIQ, with a deep understanding of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) frameworks and best practices.

- Strong proficiency in Java development, specifically for building custom rules, workflows, and integration connectors within the SailPoint ecosystem.

- Proven ability to manage complex integrations between SailPoint and various enterprise platforms, ensuring data integrity and secure access provisioning.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead client-facing discussions.

- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience in IAM engineering, with a track record of delivering high-impact security projects.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the flexibility to work effectively in a hybrid environment across our Bangalore and Hyderabad offices.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by relevant professional certifications in IAM or cybersecurity.
