Role Summary :

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and deployment of business intelligence solutions.

- This is a combinational role : 70% Individual Contributor, 30% Team Lead

- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power BI, SQL, SSRS, and Report Builder, along with proven leadership experience managing a team of 34 developers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end development of Power BI dashboards and reports

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements

- Design and optimize complex SQL queries for ETL processes

- Develop and maintain SSRS reports and Report Builder solutions

- Ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability of BI solutions

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BI developers

- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and enforce best practices

- Stay updated with BI technologies and trends to enhance reporting capabilities

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Experience :

- 8+ years overall, with 5+ years in BI/Data Analytics

- Team Lead experience : Must have led and managed a team (not just mentored)

- Python Automation : 12 years minimum, with initiative shown in AI scripting

- US Healthcare domain : Minimum 6 months preferred

Technical Proficiency :

- Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)

- SQL (complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)

- SSRS and Report Builder

- Data warehousing and ETL concepts

- Excellent communication, stake holder management, Requirement Gathering, Leadership, etc.
