Lead Machine Learning Engineer - Google Cloud Platform

About the Role :

This position requires a unique blend of technical skills, including hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, MLOps, and Python, to successfully deploy and manage machine learning models in a cloud-based environment.

Core (Non-negotiable) :

- GCP (Google Cloud) - must have hands-on experience

- MLOps - deploying & managing ML models

- Python - writing and handling ML code

- CI/CD - automation pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

- Model Deployment - real-time or batch deployment

- Vertex AI - key GCP ML service

Important Supporting Skills :

- Terraform / IaC - infra setup automation

- BigQuery / Cloud Storage - handling data

- Docker / Kubernetes (GKE) - container-based deployment

- Monitoring tools - alerts, logs, health checks

Key Responsibilities :

- Deploy and manage machine learning models in production on Google Cloud Platform

- Develop and maintain automation pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions

- Write and handle machine learning code using Python

- Deploy models in real-time or batch mode

- Utilize Vertex AI, a key Google Cloud ML service

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform

- Experience with MLOps, deploying and managing machine learning models

- Proficiency in Python, writing and handling machine learning code

- Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions

- Experience with model deployment, including real-time and batch deployment
