Job Title : Lead Java Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & System Design :

- Architect and develop scalable, high-performance backend software for manufacturing test systems

- Drive system-level design decisions, defining clear architecture, component boundaries, and interfaces

- Design robust backend frameworks to support test execution, data collection, reporting, and system integration

- Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability

Feature Ownership & Execution :

- Own features end-to-end, from design and implementation to deployment and production support

- Break down complex system features into well-defined, actionable tasks for the development team

- Define technical requirements, APIs, data contracts, and acceptance criteria

- Ensure timely and high-quality feature delivery aligned with product and manufacturing timelines

Hands-on Development :

- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable Java backend code

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices-based architectures

- Design and implement multithreaded and concurrent systems for high-throughput environments

- Apply strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms to solve complex system-level problems

- Optimize backend services for performance, memory usage, and reliability

Technical Leadership & Mentorship :

- Lead technical execution by guiding junior and mid-level engineers

- Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and technical walkthroughs

- Enforce best practices in coding standards, testing, documentation, and system design

- Mentor team members to build strong backend and system software expertise

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, hardware, validation, QA, and system engineering teams

- Support integration of backend software with test hardware, automation frameworks, and external systems

- Assist in debugging and resolving issues across multiple layers of the system

- Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders to align software solutions with manufacturing needs

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- 8 - 10 years of strong Java backend development experience

- Deep expertise in Core Java

- Proven experience as a Technical Lead / Feature Owner

- Strong understanding of System Design and Backend Architecture

Hands-on experience with :

- Multithreading & Concurrency

- Data Structures & Algorithms

- REST APIs & Microservices

- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving abilities
