Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure and Information Security professional to build, operate, and scale the companys IT function. You will be the single in-house owner of enterprise IT infrastructure, end-user computing, identity and access management, networking, business continuity, data protection, and information security. You will define the IT architecture, operate business-critical systems, and work closely with managed service providers (MSPs) and specialist consultants to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the companys IT infrastructure roadmap, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business growth.
- Manage Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and enterprise SaaS applications.
- Own the lifecycle of IT assets, including laptops, engineering workstations, mobile devices, software licensing, employee onboarding/offboarding, and identity provisioning.
- Design and govern enterprise networks across offices, manufacturing facilities, and test locations, including firewalls, switches, VPNs, Wi-Fi, VLANs, internet redundancy, and network segmentation.
- Own enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and engineering data repositories.
- Support high-performance engineering workstations and CAD/CAE environments while defining enterprise standards for end-user computing.
- Lead and continuously improve the ISO 27001:2022 Information Security Management System (ISMS), including policies, risk assessments, audit coordination, and compliance activities.
- Manage endpoint security, identity security, and data protection using Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, CrowdStrike Falcon, and Microsoft Purview.
- Review the security of cloud and on-premises infrastructure, conduct third-party security assessments, and ensure security controls are embedded into new technology deployments.
- Own relationships with MSPs and technology vendors by reviewing solution designs, monitoring service delivery, ensuring SLA compliance, and driving continuous improvement.
- Act as the technical escalation owner for major IT service disruptions and cybersecurity incidents, coordinating recovery with internal stakeholders and service providers.
- Establish IT governance, operational standards, documentation, reporting, and technology roadmaps that support the companys growth to approximately 200 employees.
