Lead Golang Developer - Backend Architecture

Role Description :

We are seeking an experienced Lead Golang Developer with strong expertise in integrating payment products with third-party systems, particularly within highly regulated environments. This role demands hands-on experience in building scalable, secure backend services using Nest.JS and Golang, with a particular focus on anti-money laundering (AML) workflows, latency optimization, and ensuring compliance with PCI DSS standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of backend services for integrated payment products.

- Develop and maintain secure and performant APIs (REST/gRPC) for internal and external consumption.

- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure AML processes are implemented efficiently in Golang-based systems.

- Optimize system latency to preserve and enhance customer experience during high-throughput operations.

- Implement and enforce PCI DSS compliance, including appropriate security headers and authentication mechanisms.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration challenges with third-party platforms.

- Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of hands-on backend development experience.

- Strong experience with Nest.JS and Golang in production environments.

- Proven experience in integrating payment solutions with third-party platforms.

- Deep understanding of REST APIs and gRPC, including authentication and secure communication.

- Practical experience working on AML systems using Golang.

- Strong understanding and experience implementing PCI DSS standards and secure backend practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in diagnosing and reducing latency in complex systems.

- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience working in fintech, banking, or regulated industries.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Knowledge of observability and performance monitoring tools.
