Role Overview :
As a Lead FPGA Design Engineer based in Gurugram, you will spearhead the architecture, development, and optimization of complex FPGA-based systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional hardware and software teams to translate high-level system requirements into robust RTL designs. Your work will directly influence the performance and reliability of our clients' mission-critical hardware, ensuring that our technical solutions meet stringent industry standards for throughput, latency, and power efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and implement complex digital logic designs using Verilog and VHDL to meet specific performance benchmarks for client hardware platforms.
- Lead the end-to-end FPGA development lifecycle, from initial requirements analysis and RTL coding to synthesis, timing closure, and final hardware integration.
- Execute comprehensive verification strategies, including simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing, to ensure design integrity and minimize post-silicon defects.
- Optimize FPGA resource utilization and power consumption by refining RTL structures and implementing efficient design methodologies.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and conduct rigorous design reviews to maintain high quality standards across all project deliverables.
- Collaborate with system architects to define hardware-software interfaces, ensuring seamless integration within larger embedded ecosystems.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in FPGA design and RTL development using Verilog and VHDL, with a proven track record of delivering complex designs from concept to production.
- Advanced proficiency in Xilinx toolchains and FPGA architectures, including deep knowledge of timing analysis, floorplanning, and constraint management.
- Strong analytical capabilities in hardware design and verification, with the ability to troubleshoot complex logic issues in high-speed digital systems.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate technical design decisions to stakeholders and coordinate efforts within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to thrive in a high-performance, on-site work environment in Gurugram, maintaining focus on precision and technical rigor.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, supported by 5 - 15 years of relevant industry experience.
