About the Role :

The Lead Engineer .NET will be responsible for leading end-to-end development of scalable web applications and APIs using the .NET Core framework. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade software solutions while ensuring code quality, performance, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of web APIs and applications using .NET Core.

- Manage and guide a team of developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and first-time quality delivery.

- Review code, pull requests, and ensure adequate test coverage through unit testing.

- Collaborate with architects to define technical solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.

- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and agile ceremonies; lead sprints in the absence of the Scrum Master.

- Translate business requirements and user stories into technical specifications and deliver working code.

- Ensure compliance with CI/CD pipelines, static code analysis, and version control standards.

- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain application performance and scalability.

- Oversee integration of various databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Drive process improvements and adoption of best practices within the development team.

- Mentor junior team members in coding, architecture, and agile methodologies.

- Prepare design documents, technical specifications, and implementation reports.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend tools or frameworks that enhance productivity.

Required Skillsets :

- Proven expertise in developing .NET Core-based web applications and RESTful APIs.

- Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and Blazor.

- Excellent understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.

- Proficiency in working with RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB).

- Experience in microservices architecture and containerized deployment (Docker, Kubernetes preferred).

- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud equivalents.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and DevOps practices.

- Proficiency with GIT or SVN for version control.

- Exposure to static code analysis tools and agile tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to anticipate technical challenges.

- Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have :

- Experience with identity providers such as IdentityServer, Auth0, or Keycloak.
