Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist with strong expertise in healthcare analytics to drive advanced data science initiatives. The role focuses on building scalable machine learning solutions, generating actionable insights from complex healthcare data, and leading high-impact analytics projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end development of machine learning and statistical models in healthcare domain

- Work with large-scale healthcare datasets including EHR, claims, clinical, and operational data

- Translate complex business problems into data science solutions and measurable outcomes

- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver data-driven solutions

- Develop predictive models for patient risk scoring, clinical outcomes, fraud detection, and process optimization

- Deploy and monitor models in production ensuring scalability and performance

- Mentor and guide junior data scientists, ensuring best practices in coding, modeling, and deployment

- Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders through data storytelling and visualization

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6 to 9 years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning roles

- Strong programming skills in Python or R with expertise in ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)

- Advanced SQL skills and experience handling large datasets

- Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and predictive analytics

- Experience in deploying ML models in production environments

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Exposure to healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, HIPAA is a strong plus

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Skills :

- Prior experience in healthcare, pharma, or life sciences domain

- Exposure to NLP, deep learning, and real-world evidence (RWE) analytics

- Experience with MLOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows
