Role Overview :

As part of the Group Data & Analytics team, you will lead high-impact AI, Machine Learning, and Analytics initiatives tailored for manufacturing plant operations and industrial processes.

In this role, you will partner directly with business and plant technology leaders to translate complex operational challenges into scalable AI/ML models, drive team execution, and ensure sustainable business value realization.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) :

1. Manufacturing Data Science & AI Leadership :

- Hands-On Model Building: Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI/ML models tailored for manufacturing processes (e.g., predictive maintenance, yield optimization, quality assurance, supply chain, and energy efficiency).

- AI Asset Creation: Develop scalable, reusable analytical frameworks and ML assets across multiple manufacturing business units.

2. Stakeholder Management & Problem Solving:

- Business Alignment: Partner with senior business and plant leaders to identify, prioritize, and structure high-impact operational problems.

- Value Realization: Translate complex business requirements into data science solutions, build executive dashboards, and track measurable outcomes across operational efficiency and cost optimization.

3. Team Leadership & Talent Capability:

- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data scientists and ML engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and data-driven innovation.

- Best Practices: Drive best practices in model governance, ML lifecycle management (MLOps), code reviews, and solution reusability.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience: 7 - 10 years of experience in Data Science & Machine Learning, with a strong background in manufacturing or plant-based process data projects.

- Core Expertise: Hands-on experience building and operationalizing AI/ML models in production.

- Leadership: Proven track record in team management and direct stakeholder management at senior levels.

- Domain Focus: Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, sensor/IoT data, supply chain metrics, and industrial analytics
