Lead Data Scientist :

Job Description :

Location : Mumbai

Experience : 12+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities :

- Defines the analytics roadmap for the clients

- Be hands-on as well manage and guide a team of high performing data scientists and business analysts

- Responsible for Descriptive, Predictive and Prescriptive analytics to solve complex business problems

- Perform machine learning, statistical analysis methods, such as classification, time-series analysis, regression, statistical inference, validation methods and so on

- Leverage structured as well as unstructured data to generate business insights through detailed analysis

- To communicate the analysis in a compelling manner through innovative data visualisation platforms, tools

- Ability for exploratory data analysis with good understanding of SQL and Data analysis tools

- Participate in new business pitches and develop proposals

- Publish white papers on innovative analytics work done

- Build new data science capabilities within the organization

- Build scoring algorithm designs specifications applying various statistical procedures to the data, analyses output and determines the next action

- Maintains records of project progress and revisions and coordinates project archival and documentation procedures.

- Clients : Pharma, Retail, FMCG, IOT, Entertainment companies or agencies

- Techno functional role hence understanding of both the aspect is important

- Managing a team of 20 employees.

Qualification :

- BE / BTech / Econometrics from premier institutes like IITs / RECs, ISI.

- Client interfacing and project management skills

Core Skills :

- Excellent knowledge of Statistical, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Database concepts

- Building models, implemented models to client

- Knowledge of multiple tools such as R, Python

- Expertise in RDBMS, SQL, Queries and Exploratory Analysis

- Ability to understand the client business and capture business process and events

- Keen eye for details and data visualisation

- Good communication skills and strong ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Good project management skills with a focus and responsibility for flawless, timely delivery
