AI Lead Engineer Enterprise AI Products

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a high-caliber, hands-on AI Lead Engineer to drive the development and delivery of next-generation AI-powered enterprise products. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who combines deep AI expertise with product ownership, execution excellence, and leadership capability. Working directly with the CTO, you will play a key role in architecting, building, and scaling AI solutions that deliver measurable business value for enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end development and delivery of AI-powered enterprise products.

- Design scalable AI architectures leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, NLP, and Machine Learning.

- Translate business requirements into production-ready AI solutions.

- Drive technical decision-making, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices.

- Build, deploy, monitor, and optimize AI/ML models and applications in production environments.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Leadership teams.

- Mentor engineers while remaining actively involved in coding, design, and problem-solving.

- Ensure timely delivery, quality, scalability, security, and performance of AI solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Must Have:

- 3 - 5 years of successful experience in AI product development and delivery ownership.

- Demonstrated track record of launching and scaling production-grade AI applications.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks.

Tech Stack:

- Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents & Agentic Workflows, Prompt Engineering, Vector Databases, LangChain / LlamaIndex, Machine Learning & NLP.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, CI/CD, MLOps, and scalable software architecture.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team collaboration skills.

Preferred:

- B.Tech/M.Tech from premier institutions such as IITs, IISc, IIITs, NITs, or equivalent.

- Experience in Enterprise SaaS, AI Platforms, Automation Products, or B2B Technology Products.

- Exposure to multi-agent systems, AI orchestration frameworks, and advanced GenAI architectures.

- Prior experience leading small engineering teams or mentoring developers.

Compensation:

INR 18 - 24 LPA. Competitive compensation aligned with market benchmarks and commensurate with experience, technical expertise, institutional pedigree, and demonstrated delivery success.

Ideal Candidate:

A hands-on builder with a strong product mindset, proven AI delivery experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to partner closely with the CTO to create scalable, market-leading enterprise AI products. Candidates available for immediate joining or with short notice periods will be strongly preferred.
