Job Title : Systems & Cloud Engineer (L2)

Experience Required : 3 to 5 Years

Location : Ahmedabad (Work from Office)

Shift : 24/7 Rotational

Notice Period : Immediate to 1 Month

Job Summary :


We are seeking a highly skilled Systems & Cloud Engineer (L2) to join our IT operations team. The ideal candidate will act as an escalation point for L1 engineers and handle advanced technical support issues related to systems, networks, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure. The role requires solid troubleshooting capabilities, hands-on experience with Microsoft cloud technologies, and familiarity with global client support, especially in the US and Australia regions.

Key Responsibilities (KRA) :


- Handle escalated L2 support tickets, ensuring resolution within defined SLAs

- Monitor system alerts, logs, and incidents for timely issue identification and resolution

- Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement preventive measures

- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues

- Maintain and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Office 365 environments

- Provide support for Azure AD and manage cloud-based services

- Collaborate with NOC, DevOps, and product teams for technical escalations

- Maintain documentation for configurations, issues, and troubleshooting steps

- Ensure IT security and compliance best practices are followed in all deployments

- Support virtualization infrastructure including Hyper-V

- Interact with international clients, especially from the USA and Australia, for incident resolution and updates

- Assist in patch management, backup monitoring, and system performance optimization

Required Skillset :

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in Windows OS environments

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure AD administration

- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Print Server management

- Working knowledge of networking protocols, VPNs, and firewalls

- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure

- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems such as Autotask

- Knowledge of virtualization platforms like Hyper-V

- Basic understanding of SQL databases and scripting

- Strong communication skills and experience handling international client communication

- Ability to work in a 24/7 support environment with rotating shifts

Preferred Certifications :


- Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate

- CompTIA Network+ / Security+

- ITIL Foundation (a plus)
