Job Summary :

We are looking for an L2 Network Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Aruba Wireless environments. The role will focus on day-to-day network support, incident troubleshooting, wireless monitoring, configuration, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide L2 support for Aruba wireless infrastructure, including Mobility Controllers, Access Points, and Aruba Central.

- Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, authentication, roaming, and performance issues.

- Configure and support SSIDs, AP Groups, RF settings, and client connectivity.

- Monitor wireless infrastructure and perform routine health checks and performance optimization.

- Support ClearPass, RADIUS, and Active Directory integrations.

- Analyze logs and troubleshoot network incidents within defined SLAs.

- Perform configuration changes, firmware upgrades, and standard maintenance activities.

- Escalate complex or critical issues to L3/network architecture teams.

- Maintain network documentation, incident records, and operational procedures.

Secondary Skills - Any One Preferred :

1. FortiGate / Fortinet SD-WAN :

- Basic troubleshooting of FortiGate firewalls and SD-WAN.

- Knowledge of IPSec VPN, security policies, routing, and HA.

2. Juniper Switching :

- Basic troubleshooting of Juniper EX switches.

- Knowledge of VLANs, trunking, STP, LACP, and basic routing.

Must-Have Skills :

- 4 to 6 years of experience in Network Support / Network Operations.

- Strong hands-on experience with Aruba Wireless.

- Good knowledge of Aruba Mobility Controllers, ArubaOS, Aruba Central, and Access Points.

- Experience with RF management, wireless security, and ClearPass authentication.

- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and basic routing/switching.

- Good troubleshooting, communication, and incident-management skills.
