Role Summary :

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for designing, delivering, and governing Microsoft Power Platform, Automation, and AI solutions that drive business efficiency and process transformation. This role requires hands-on technical leadership, stakeholder management, solution design expertise, and the ability to independently lead initiatives from requirements gathering through deployment and support.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and AI-powered applications.

- Oversee sprint delivery, technical solution design, code reviews, release management, and production support activities.

- Manage and enhance existing Power Platform applications and automation workflows to ensure reliability, scalability, security, and continuous improvement.

- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, assess feasibility, define solution architecture, and translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions.

- Design and implement Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and enterprise workflow automation solutions using Power Automate.

- Lead the development of AI-enabled business solutions using AI Builder, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, and Azure OpenAI capabilities.

- Drive proof-of-concepts, pilots, and innovation initiatives focused on automation, AI adoption, and operational efficiency improvements.

- Design and optimize integrations between Power Platform and enterprise systems including SharePoint Online, SQL Server, Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Services, Microsoft Teams, REST APIs, and Microsoft Graph APIs.

- Establish solution governance, environment strategies, deployment standards, security controls, monitoring practices, and ALM processes.

- Manage project reporting, RAID logs, status updates, stakeholder communications, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution.

- Mentor team members and define development standards, naming conventions, documentation practices, testing approaches, and deployment guidelines.

- Ensure successful execution of Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, Production Validation, and Hypercare support activities.

- Create and maintain technical documentation including requirements, architecture diagrams, process flows, data flows, deployment procedures, and operational support guides.

Must-Have Skills :

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage business and technical audiences effectively.

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps & Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online.

- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale workflow automation and low-code application solutions.

- Strong experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online, SQL Server, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Services, REST APIs, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Graph APIs.

- Hands-on experience with AI Builder, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, and Azure OpenAI.

- Experience implementing AI-powered use cases such as Document Processing, Information Extraction, Intelligent Approvals, Conversational Agents, Knowledge Assistants, Content Generation, and Business Process Automation.

- Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts including Prompt Engineering, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Governance, Responsible AI, and AI Evaluation techniques.

- Experience with ALM, environment management, solution deployment, and Power Platform governance frameworks.

- Strong understanding of security and access management including service principles, managed identities, role-based security, and least-privilege access principles.

- Experience working with structured and unstructured data using SQL, APIs, Python, Microsoft Fabric, and enterprise integration platforms.

- Ability to independently manage multiple workstreams, changing priorities, and stakeholder expectations while delivering high-quality outcomes.

Experience & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technology discipline.

- 6+ years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform development, application modernization, workflow automation, AI enablement, and solution delivery.

- Proven experience leading end-to-end solution delivery, stakeholder engagement, technical design, governance, deployment, and support activities.

- Experience working within Agile delivery teams and mentoring junior consultants and developers.
